Welcome to week 8 and I hope everyone had a great weekend. We are getting ready for Halloween with our very fun dance routine and song. The students are so eager and energetic! 

This is what the content for week 8 will look like. 

We are wrapping up unit 1 this week by reviewing everything that we have learnt so far about how do we make pictures and drawings.

Vocabulary: crayons, feathers, paper shapes, pen, brush, eraser, paper, glitter, paint

Greetings parents,

Welcome to week 6. This will be a very short school week with K2 because of the holidays. We've already started gearing up for Halloween with a very fun dance routine and song. The students are really looking forward to a scary spooky time ahead. A reminder to please encourage them not to speak Chinese in English class, becasue the more they try to use English is the better they will become at it. 

Week 6 is upon us and this is what the content will look like. 

We are still continuing with unit 1 and focusing on how do we make pictures and drawings.

We've had another great week getting to know each other with the students and we have had some fun learning, singing and dancing. We are now consistent in our routines and the students are more confident and comfortable especially when it comes to speaking and singing.

Week 5 has arrived and that means new words and new knowledge will be discovered. 

This week we are starting unit 1 and we will be focusing on how do we make pictures and drawings.

Vocabulary: pen, brush, eraser, paper, glitter, paint

Structures: What is this? It's a (brush).

What is this? It's an (eraser). 

We will be using the following books.

 WEEK 4 SHOW & TELL

Greetings parents,

We've had another great week getting to know each other with the students and we have had some fun learning, singing and dancing. We are now consistent in our routines and the students are more confident and comfortable especially when it comes to speaking and singing.

Week 4 has arrived and that means new words and new knowledge will be discovered. 

This upcoming week we will be doing a fun craft for halloween 💀💀, and we will also practice our theme song for moon festival 🌕.

In our class activities we will be focusing on shapes and colors.

Shapes: circle, square, triangle, star

Colors: red, blue, pink, yellow, purple 

We will also learn and say the sentence structure: I see a (circle). It is (blue).

We will be using the following books.

 WEEK 3 SHOW & TELL

Greetings parents,

We've had a great week getting to know each other with the students and we have had some fun learning, singing and dancing.

Next week we are starting a new week, week 3 and that means new words and new knowledge to be discovered. 

This upcoming week, we will be focusing on food, animals, actions and numbers.

Numbers: 1 - 10

Animals: bird, goat, rabbit, spider

Food: juice, banana, apple, grapes, strawberry

Actions: jump, fly, crawl, swim

We will also learn and say the sentence structure: I see a (goat).

We will be using the following books.
